Richard Breger

Partner

Richard Breger is a Partner with Breger | De Biase and co-owner of Empire Title Services, LLC. Richard is a native Floridian who attended the University of Miami and Boston University before graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Richard continued his higher education at the University of Florida and graduated from its law school with honors and as a member of the school’s prestigious Law Review, in 1981. To further his education, Richard returned to law school at the University of Miami and earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) Degree in Estate Planning in 1995.

Richard specializes in real estate transactions, title examinations, general civil litigation, estate planning and probate administration. Richard’s involvement in the community includes previous service as President of the North Dade Bar Association and President of The Forum of North Dade. Richard also served as a Miami-Dade County Civil Traffic Infraction Hearing Officer from 1993-2020.


Kimberlee De Biase

Managing Partner

Kim is the Managing Partner of Breger | De Biase and co-owner of Empire Title Services, LLC. She was born and raised in New England and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island. Kim started her real estate career by serving buyers and sellers of residential property as a real estate salesperson for an international brokerage. When the opportunity to pursue a legal education under a full-tuition scholarship to the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center presented itself, Kim relocated to South Florida and has been here ever since./p>

Kim obtained her Juris Doctor Degree, cum laude, in 2009 and is licensed to practice law in multiple states, including Florida. Over the years, Kim has successfully represented consumers facing forfeiture of their earnest money deposits, real estate brokers seeking unpaid commission dollars, and investors suing for specific performance of real estate sale and purchase contracts or to quiet title after a tax deed sale. Kim currently focuses her law practice on residential and commercial real estate transactions, private lender representation, and probate administration but prides herself on connecting people in need with someone who can help if the issues fall outside of her areas of specialty.


Ivette De Moya

Associate Attorney

Ivette De Moya is an Associate Attorney at Breger | De Biase and In-House Counsel at Empire Title Services. She is a Miami native who attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Before studying law, Ivette was an analyst and project manager at JPMorgan Chase. Wanting to have a direct impact in people’s lives as an attorney, Ivette earned her Juris Doctor degree at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, New York. As a law student, Ivette and her teammates on the Moot Court Honor Society won Second Place Best Brief in the Appellate Lawyers Association’s 2015 National Moot Court Competition. She was also honored with her law school’s Service and Achievement Award in 2017 for her leadership work on campus.

After law school, as a Staff Attorney in the Criminal Defense Practice for The Legal Aid Society’s Manhattan office, Ivette represented hundreds of indigent clients in their misdemeanor and felony cases. Ivette then moved back home to South Florida and gained experience in employment law before transitioning to the practice of real estate law. At Breger | De Biase, Ivette pairs her litigation, negotiation, and advocacy skills with her passion to help her clients. Ivette is admitted to practice law in Florida and New York.
